The Centre for Arts, Culture & Film Heritage (CAFH) is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and inclusion across all its programs, partnerships, and community engagements. This Code of Conduct establishes the principles and behavioral expectations applicable to all members, partners, collaborators, volunteers, and stakeholders, ensuring a safe, respectful, and equitable environment for everyone involved.
Adherence to this Code supports CAFH’s mandate to foster cultural exchange, creative excellence, and heritage preservation while promoting dignity and mutual respect across diverse communities, including—but not limited to—differences in ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, and marital status.
This Code of Conduct outlines the standards governing professional conduct within CAFH. Participation in CAFH initiatives constitutes agreement to uphold these principles in all interactions and representations.
All members and affiliates are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, transparency, accountability, and ethical judgment in all professional and creative engagements.
CAFH maintains a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination or harassment. All individuals shall be treated with respect, fairness, and dignity, irrespective of protected or personal characteristics.
Members must comply with all applicable municipal, provincial, and federal laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to their activities with CAFH.
All business and creative practices must be conducted fairly and honestly, including truthful communications, transparent agreements, and the fulfillment of contractual and professional obligations.
Confidential information shared within CAFH networks must be protected and not disclosed without proper authorization, in alignment with privacy and data protection best practices.
Actual or perceived conflicts of interest must be disclosed promptly. Members are expected to act in the best interest of CAFH and manage conflicts responsibly and transparently.
CAFH encourages a collaborative culture that promotes knowledge exchange, cross-sector partnerships, and collective advancement of the arts, culture, and film ecosystem.
Members and affiliates are encouraged to actively participate in CAFH initiatives, events, and committees, contributing to organizational growth, sector impact, and community value.
In the event of disputes, parties are encouraged to pursue constructive dialogue and amicable resolution. CAFH may, at its discretion, facilitate mediation where appropriate.
Violations of this Code should be reported to CAFH leadership. All reports will be handled with discretion, reviewed promptly, and addressed in accordance with established governance processes.
Non-compliance with this Code may result in corrective or disciplinary action, including formal warnings, suspension of privileges, or termination of affiliation with CAFH.
This Code of Conduct may be updated periodically by CAFH’s governing body to reflect evolving best practices, legal requirements, and organizational priorities.

The Centre for Arts, Culture & Film Heritage (CAFH) reserves the right to capture and use photographs and video recordings taken at CAFH-led or CAFH-affiliated events for institutional, promotional, archival, and communications purposes.
Such materials may be used across CAFH-owned or CAFH-contracted platforms, including but not limited to websites, social media, digital publications, marketing collateral, press materials, broadcasts, and print media.
To safeguard individual privacy—particularly for minors—CAFH will not publish full names or personally identifiable information alongside images without prior written consent from the individual, or from a parent or legal guardian where applicable.
Any individual attending a CAFH event who does not wish to be photographed or recorded must notify the event organizer in advance, in writing, including a recent photograph for identification purposes. This information will be used solely to honor the request and will be treated confidentially.
By attending or participating in a CAFH event without submitting a written opt-out notice, individuals acknowledge and consent to the use of their image or likeness and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless CAFH from any claims arising from such use.
